Relay offers AC motor solid state switching

An OEM Automatic product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 17, 2007

The SLO24TRA's relay input is operated with 24V DC and the output can switch load voltages from 0 to 240 VAC.

The SLO24TRA solid state relay is designed to switch 2.5A of continuous current but can switch as much as 65A for up to 20mS making it ideal for AC motor control.

The relay input is operated with 24V DC and the output can switch load voltages from 0 to 240 VAC.

Delcon's pulse transformer technology allows them to use much stronger triacs that require no RC circuit for transient protection and therefore have virtually zero leakage current.

A built in varistor allows the relays to be safely used when there are high voltage spikes on the load lines.

The relays are not effected by power factor or supply frequency and there is no minimum load requirement.
