Mechan is offering increased machine security with a new range of electronically coded noncontact safety switches The switch housing is fully encapsulated to IP67 standard and is ideal for wet or dusty environments where the added safety of coded switches is required

The switches are suitable for safety category 3 or 4 applications when used with appropriate safety relay.

Devices offer a 10mm operating distance, and various contact arrangements are available.

Connector versions are also available.

And in all cases no separate controller is required.
