Ammeters measure current over time

An OEM Automatic product story

Bimetallic and combined ammeters are perfectly suited to thermal monitoring of transformers, cables and other electrical devices which have a slow reaction to current changes.

OEM Automatic has a range of ammeters from Lumel that measure the average RMS current over a set time period using bimetallic needles.

Bimetallic and combined ammeters are perfectly suited to thermal monitoring of transformers, cables and other electrical devices which have a slow reaction to current changes.

They indicate the average RMS current value during the predefined measuring period using bimetallic needles that do not react to short current pulses.

A red memory needle also marks the maximum current reached.

These meters can be combined with a standard ammeter fitted in the opposite corner to give an instantaneous load current readout.
