Ultraminiature photosensors have a minimum object resolution of only 3mm, with a maximum sensing range of 500mm.

The UM2 range of ultraminiature photosensors from Takex is designed to provide devices for all sensing requirements where space is a critical factor.

The through-beam sensors are available from OEM Automatic and have a minimum object resolution of only 3mm, with a maximum sensing range of 500mm.

Diffuse reflective sensing is available in a convergent beam type sensor with a range of 30mm.

The housing is sealed to IP67 which makes them suitable for use in washdown environments.

The sensors also feature metal inserts in the mounting holes which protect them from overtightening during installation.

All devices come with integrated amplifiers and double LED indicators, and feature a typical response time of 0.5ms.
