Membership fees rise for CAD
organisation
The ODA Board of Directors renewed its commitment to increasing the value delivered to members by scaling up investments in engineering, quality assurance and technology infrastructure.

The OpenDWG Alliance has been working to support the newly released AutoCAD 2004 drawing file format in its DWGdirect program libraries.
Along with an increase to member fees, the ODA Board of Directors renewed its commitment to increasing the value delivered to members by scaling up investments in engineering, quality assurance and technology infrastructure.
The initiative to increase development investment along with member fees positions the ODA to achieve its long-term commitment of strengthening and further extending the DWGdirect and DGNdirect software libraries to promote the open exchange of DWG and DGN data.
Arnold van der Weide, President of the Open Design Alliance, said, "The Board of Directors has a vision for both the purpose of the ODA in the CAD industry and the value provided to members".
"As a result, the board voted for a modest increase in membership fees to properly finance the next level of planned growth for the organisation".
"As we increase investment in product development and quality assurance, we continue to supply our members with high-performing, reliable and robust CAD technology".
