Lubricants on show at Tooling 2002
Advanced Microlubrication Systems is featuring its Microlube precision lubrication system and SafeCut lubricant alongside a comprehensive range of chamfering machines at the Tooling 2002 show.
They are suitable for a wide range of applications such as food processing equipment, food packaging and logistics, baking ovens, refrigerators, toy manufacturing and the pharmaceutical industry.
To ensure that no contamination by incidental contact of food product by lubricants will occur, food manufacturers are required to apply the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point method (HACCP) in accordance with EU Directive 93/43/EEC.
Furthermore the use of food grade lubricants is considered to be essential in order to reduce the risk of unwanted contamination in food processing applications.
Meeting the strict requirements of the internationally adopted National Sanitation Foundation standard (NSF), all OKS food grade lubricants are either NSF H1 or NSF H2 registered.
The NSF H1 classification certifies that lubricants used in food and beverage processing equipment are safe and do not cause any harm if consumed accidentally.
The NSF H2 classification certifies lubricants for applications where no contact with food products is expected.
