Four sizes of DIN-rail cases from OKW
OKW Enclosures of Fareham has developed a special case system called Railtec specifically intended for the enclosure of electronic assemblies that are to be fast-locked on to DIN-rails.
Two versions are available, with or without a cut out for LCD display modules.
A recessed control area is provided for membrane keyboards, and a barcode scanner can be mounted under the display area.
Sealed to IP65, the cases have an equal weight distribution with the battery compartment being in the lower end of the case.
The battery compartment is offered with a choice of two battery options; two 1.5V AA cells or one 9V PP3 cell.
Typical applications for the XS are mobile data collection and test and measurement devices.
The cases are moulded in off-white or black ABS (UL94 HB), or can be supplied in other colours or materials to meet specific customer requirements, including PMMA for infra-red applications.
OKW also offers a full customising service on these enclosures with milling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a bespoke solution to electronics designers.
