Four sizes of DIN-rail cases from OKW
OKW Enclosures of Fareham has developed a special case system called Railtec specifically intended for the enclosure of electronic assemblies that are to be fast-locked on to DIN-rails.
The Comtec range further enhances OKW's extensive range of sloping enclosures and features an attractive 'softline' design, which is designed to enhance the visual impact of modern electronics.
The cases are composed of a top and a base moulding, which are assembled by an interlocking system at the rear and by two screws at the front.
This simple and fast assembly allows easier access when the case is mounted to a wall.
Comtec cases are moulded in off-white or black ABS (UL94 HB), or can be supplied in other colours and materials on request.
There are two sizes available: 150x200x20/32mm and 200x150x40/63mm.
The top panel is recessed for mounting membrane keypads or product labels.
Both mouldings include screw pillars for mounting PCBs etc.
Typical applications for the Comtec cases are telecoms equipment, intercoms, surveillance devices, data collection and a broad range of instrumentation.
OKW also offers a full customising service on these enclosures with milling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a bespoke solution to electronics designers.
