OKW Enclosures of Fareham has developed a special case system called Railtec specifically intended for the enclosure of electronic assemblies that are to be fast-locked on to DIN-rails.
They are manufactured of halogen-free ABS or polycarbonate.
With a protection class of IP66, and fully insulated to VDE 0100, the TechnoBox range is supplied as a standard light grey RAL 7035, and special colours can be produced on request to fit the customer's specific needs.
The internal and external fastening points on the TechnoBox range are compatible with industry standard dimensions.
The lid can also be customised to increased depth to accommodate front plates if required.
The range is ideal for housing both electronics and electrical equipment.
The recessed lid is designed for easy location of membrane keypads or polycarbonate labels.
Prices for the TechnoBox start at around ?4.00.
These enclosures can be fully customised with holes and cut-outs, silk-screen printing, painting or moulding in alternative materials, and much more, to provide a bespoke solution to the design engineer.
