The die-cast aluminium conForm and conTrol ranges of enclosures from Rolec are specially designed to protect electronic and electrical systems against EMI.

The die-cast aluminium conForm and conTrol ranges of enclosures from Rolec are specially designed to protect electronic and electrical systems against EMI.

A high degree of EMC shielding is achieved in these enclosures by small precast ribs, which are compressed into the lid on assembly.

This mechanical contact negates the need for expensive EMC gaskets or contact fingers.

Thus reducing the cost considerably.

Both ranges are also sealed to IP66 or, on request, IP67 with a special gasket.

The conForm range is available in 14 sizes, ranging from 79 x 84 x 44 to 266 x 166 x 100mm.

The conTrol range features a deeply recessed lid, which provides protection for pushbuttons and controls, and is available in four standard sizes ranging from to 129 x 84 x 55 to 179 x 84 x 78mm.

All versions are powder coated in silky grey RAL 7032.

All assembly dimensions conform to industry standard sizes.

Accessories for both ranges include internal mounting plates, external mounting brackets, internal and external hinges, panel mounting kits and a terminal mounting rails.

Prices start from just GBP 11.

These enclosures can be fully customised with holes and cutouts, silk-screen printing, painting in other colours, fitting of cable glands and much more, to provide a bespoke solution to the design engineer.
