The aluTwin range of IP66 enclosures from Rolec is suitable for all types of industrial applications, especially for housing wall- or machine-mounted equipment The front frame incorporates a removable anodised aluminium front panel

The panel is recessed for protection of switches and controls, or for easy location of membrane keypads.

The terminal compartment has a separate lid and can be isolated internally from the main chamber so that the terminal blocks can be accessed for installation without disturbing the electronics.

The cases are fastened by single-channel lid fixings outside of the sealed interior.

Manufactured from die-cast aluminium, there are two sizes available: 240 x 160 x 120 and 240 x 240 x 120mm.

The standard finish is powder coated light grey RAL 7035 and window grey RAL 7040.

Stove-finished structured paint, and special colours can also be supplied to order.

Gortex condensation glands to ventilate the case, while maintaining IP66 protection, are available on request.

These are used when there are considerable variances in the operating temperature over a short period, which can often result in condensation build-up inside the enclosure.

High temperature and EMC gaskets are also offered.

Prices for aluTwin enclosures start from GBP 39.

Devices can be customised with holes and cutouts, silk-screen printing and much more to provide a finished enclosure ready for assembly of the components and assemblies.
