OKW reckons its Snaptec range of IP65 rated enclosures offers electronic and electrical engineers money savings through faster assembly.

A unique snap-on top panel ensures that the enclosures are easy to assemble, without screws, providing fast and secure equipping and maintenance.

Access for servicing is by either the access key provided or a small flat head screwdriver.

Four cover plugs are also included for covering the access ports.

Available in three sizes of 60 x 60 x 40, 60 x 100 x 40 and 100 x 100 x 40mm, the Snaptec range is manufactured from ABS (UL94HB).

The standard colour is light grey RAL 7035, with special colours available on request.

Screw pillars are provided in the top and base parts for mounting terminals, PCBs etc.

Prices start at GBP 5.

The top panel is recessed for mounting membrane keyboards or polycarbonate labels.

Each case includes four screw ports for easy mounting of the unit in a variety of places such as bulkheads, walls, under desks etc.

OKW offers a full customising service on these enclosures with CNC milling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for the electronic components.
