To achieve the extra height, new taller top panel mouldings have been produced in two versions: with a closed operating area, or with a display window for standard LCDs (2 x 16).

Datec-Mobil-Box M cases are moulded in ABS in off-white RAL 9002 and black RAL 9005.
Other colours are available on request.
A battery compartment lid is supplied with the case, with screw-in battery cradles available separately for 1.5V AA and 9V cells.
Accessories for the Datec-Mobil-Boxes include IP65 sealing kits, acrylic windows, wall holders and tilt legs.
