Rolec has extended its popular Alucase range of IP66 die-cast enclosures - the newest concept in the marketplace.

Rolec has extended its popular Alucase range of IP66 die-cast enclosures - the newest concept in the marketplace New sizes added to the range include 150 x 180 x 60 and 90mm, 150 x 260 x 60 and 90mm, 170 x 200 x 60mm and 170 x 280 x 60 and 90mm

The Alucase range is unique in the market.

For example, when fitting membrane keypads or control panels to the Alucase, users don't have to crop around the case fixings, as a recessed area in the top is already provided.

Also in the past unsightly hinges and screws would be visible, but with the Alucase the modern integrated hinge design has no visible fixings and clip-on trims, in plastic or aluminium, are supplied to hide the case and wall fixings.

Extras such as wall brackets are no longer needed as the Alucase range incorporates screw ports for wall mounting, even when the unit is assembled, and accessories are not required to keep the lid retained as two straps are now included.

Another option for this innovative range of enclosures is a keylock incorporated in the hinge assembly, offering a better design than traditional keylocks.

The Alucase range is ideal for housing both electronic and electrical devices.

The enclosures are powder painted window grey RAL 7040.

Other options include EMC and IP67 gaskets and Gor-Tex condensation glands.

Prices start at GBP 16.

These enclosures can be fully customised with holes and cut-outs, silk-screen printing, painting in other colours, fitting of cable glands and much more, thus providing a fully finished housing ready for assembly of the components.
