OKW Enclosures of Fareham has developed a special case system called Railtec specifically intended for the enclosure of electronic assemblies that are to be fast-locked on to DIN-rails.
The range can be used for a wide variety of customer applications including control and keyboard housing, display technology and fixed electronic devices in explosive areas.
The aluminium family of enclosures consists of 12 ranges including models such as Alucase, Alunorm, Aluquick and Conform.
The glass reinforced polyester cases consist of five ranges including Polytop, Polydoor and Polykom.
Enclosures are available in a huge variety of sizes with and without hinged lids.
Recessed lids are also available for fitting display modules, keypad assembles, tracker balls, on/off switches and emergency stop buttons.
In order to guard against corrosion, all enclosures are fitted with captured stainless steel screws, and are sealed against water and dust to IP66 standards.
As a result, Rolec's range of heavy-duty enclosures are capable of coping with the rigours of both indoor and outdoor applications Incorporated across the range is Rolec's commitment in creating modern, ergonomically designed enclosures suited for individual user applications.
User requirements are catered for by a wide variety of available options, which include security locks, DIN rails and external mounting brackets.
Earthing points and threaded inserts are fitted inside as standard throughout all models.
Rolec's heavy-duty enclosures can also be supplied with all the necessary modifications to suit customer requirements including CNC milling and drilling, silk screen printing, moulding in a variety of colours and other materials and EMC shielding.
