A suitable case for machine control
Design engineers can choose between two versatile front panel options when using OKW's Unidesk-Terminal cases.
Design engineers can choose between two versatile front panel options when using OKW's Unidesk-Terminal cases.
Typical applications will include medical, security, machine control and point-of-sale terminals.
These sloping front cases consist of a basic housing (made from die-cast aluminium side panels and extrusion profiles), and a removable base panel.
All parts are painted light grey RAL 7035.
The front panels are ordered separately.
Type FF anodised front panels are fitted to the case by external fixing screws, and provide fast access and easy mounting for display modules, switches and controls.
Type RF front panels are fitted by M3 studs from the inside of the case, thus providing a flat, screw-free front surface for mounting a membrane keyboard.
There are three standard sizes: 200, 300 and 400 x 200 x 102mm.
All models are supplied with gaskets for sealing to IP54.
Connectors and switches can also be mounted on the flat rear wall of the housing.
Four non-slip feet are included, and an accessory kit is offered for wall mounting.
Prices start at GBP 47.
OKW offers a full customising service on these cases with CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for fitting the components.
