Typical applications will include test and measurement devices, audio and video systems and networking equipment.

These aluminium rack cases are available in three heights (1, 2 and 3U), and depths of 167, 267 and 367mm.

The cases conform to DIN41494 and IEC standards.

Each Mettec case consist of a die-cast front bezel, painted in light grey RAL 7035, and a case body which is formed by two side extrusions and a top and base panel, and is finished in Alocrom 1200.

Internal guide rails are included for mounting PCBs and chassis plates.

The anodised aluminium front panels are recessed for mounting membrane keypads, and include ABS trims, which hide the fixings.

Uniquely, these front panels can be removed while the case is still fitted in the rack, which is very convenient for servicing.

Other accessories include chassis plates and a rack mounting kit.
