PLM software proves popular

Omnify Software, a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software for electronics, medical, mechanical and defence manufacturers, has announced exceptionally strong results for 2006 with a 65% increase in sales revenue and 71% increase in new customer acquisitions over the same period last year.
Increased PLM implementations in key industry segments, including medical device and aerospace manufacturing, were significant drivers for this growth.
This growth continues a healthy upward trend for Omnify.
The company moved its corporate headquarters to Andover, Massachusetts in November 2005 in anticipation of future growth and to better accommodate a 25% expansion of personnel dedicated to service, sales and engineering.
"Our steady growth is a testament to the value that business-ready PLM offers manufacturers", said Chuck Cimalore, Chief Technology Officer for Omnify Software.
"The ability to deliver an easy to use solution that can be adopted quickly, as well as our commitment to superior customer service, has contributed significantly to the selection of Omnify's PLM solution by manufacturers who want to better manage their product design and development".
