High-power 1.8deg stepper motor is based on Nema 17 frame size motor and combines neodymium magnets with a magnetic design to provide 254mNm holding torque.

Omnimotor has introduced a high-power 1.8deg stepper motor for motion applications The SST43D is based on a Nema 17 frame size motor and combines neodymium magnets with a magnetic design to provide 254mNm holding torque with a bipolar winding design for fine positioning and low noise applications

This 24V DC 1.0A motor has 30% more torque than previous Shinano Kenshi size 17 motors and has an improved torque to inertia ratio for more rapid acceleration, higher maximum speed and faster settling time.

The highest torque levels are combined with low vibration and noise levels so these motors can be used in RFI-sensitive applications.

An integral motor connector is provided with every motor.

Applications include high performance packaging and labelling, high-throughput factory automation and medical and biotech automated equipment.

Customised winding configurations are available with added features such as gearboxes, brakes, encoders, special shafts and leadwire or connector assemblies.
