Omnexus has extended its online excess materials service with today's launch of the European arm of its successful surPlus Centre.

Plastics buyers and sellers ranging from small to large companies now have instant access through the global plastics eMarketplace to a fast-moving, continually updated selection of discounted prime and non-prime inventory from both North American and European sellers of branded, excess resin materials.
Available through the Omnexus portal, the surPlus Centre is a searchable catalogue containing the listings of excess inventory from well-known plastics companies.
The surPlus Centre gives plastics buyers in Europe and worldwide a direct online channel to view these materials, and then purchase them directly from companies offering products through Omnexus, including BASF, Bayer, Distrupol, Dow, DSM, Entec, and PolyOne.

The surPlus Centre offers sellers of discounted excess resin materials a simple, cost-effective alternative to the traditional methods of marketing their materials.
Suppliers, distributors, brokers, and other wholesalers of trademarked plastics materials can use the centre to place their prime and non-prime discounted inventory in front of a wide, global audience of plastics purchasers.
Alternatively, buyers using the surPlus Centre can quickly view listings of available excess materials and purchase them directly from these companies.
This one-stop resource shows processors both availability and physical location of discounted products, and is continually updated as materials are added.
Buyers can also sign up to receive e-mail alerts when new inventory is posted.
