Inverter offers any fieldbus protocol you like
Every commonly adopted fieldbus protocol is available on the 3G3FV Sysdrive inverter from Omron, making it the ideal systems drive for OEM and end user applications.
Every commonly adopted fieldbus protocol is available on the 3G3FV Sysdrive inverter from Omron, making it the ideal systems drive for OEM and end user applications.
Modbus is built in, and options for open communications include Modbus Plus, Canbus, Interbus, DeviceNet, Profibus and Sysmac Bus.
This allows the optimum protocol to be selected for each application based on an existing site specification, technical, cost or familiarity basis.
Ease of use was a prime requirement for the drives designers, who were briefed to ensure that the Sysdrive product family covers all possible demands of drives users from a series of matched ranges.
The 3G3FV, which embraces the massive power range from 0.4 to 300kW, is available in four operating modes: v/f, v/f with feedback, plus open and closed loop vector control.
It has a plain text 2 line LCD display, with parameter selection, monitoring and diagnostics available at the touch of a button.
A structured menu guides the user through initial set up, with the settings being easy to store into a copy unit for re-use.
Auto tuning and advanced control algorithms are also provided as standard, ensuring that commissioning is straightforward no matter how complex the systems.
Password protection ensures security against unauthorised tampering.
Other features of the 3G3FV range include torque control, 150% torque at zero speed, PID control, fully configurable I/O, PC based programming, Three phase 200V models, phase loss detection, on-board timers, dynamic braking and DC chokes on models above 15kW.
All these features coupled with comprehensive fieldbus options ensure the 3G3FV is suitable for all applications.
