A new range of safety relays from Omron combines functionality with the smallest ever package to give users more options - and more room in their control cubicles too.

The G9SA Series comprises a comprehensive line-up of compact safety relays, all in a standard 45-mm width.

Four types are available; a 3-pole model, a 5-pole model (single or dual channel) and further models with 3-poles and two OFF-delay poles, as well as a two-hand controller.

In addition, the range is complemented with 17.5 mm wide expansion units with 3-poles and three OFF-delay poles.

All units are suitable for both DIN track and screw mounting, conform to EN standards as well as having BG, UL and CSA approval and operate on either 24 VAC/DC or 100-240 VAC.

The emergency stop units offer a choice of one or two input channels and the 3-pole models with OFF-delay feature, give 15-step OFF-delay times of up to 7.5, 15 and 30 seconds.

The main output poles are to Category 4 and OFF-delay poles to Category 3.

With an output contact carry current of 5A, all units have a response time of 10 ms max.

Units are tough with an electrical life expectancy of 100,000 operations and a mechanical rating in excess of 5 million operations, operating over an ambient temperature range of -25C to +55C.
