Omron Electronic Components Europe has set up a series of new dedicated companies in six major European countries.

Omron Electronic Components Europe has set up a series of new dedicated companies in six major European countries New companies have been established in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Sweden alongside the established company in the Netherlands, which includes the European HQ

Each will focus on Omron's electromechanical and electronic components business in its region.

The new organisation is a result of the restructuring of Omron's industrial business into separate industrial automation and electronic components operations.

This change is in line with Omron's long-term global strategy to build and maintain businesses that offer high added value to customers, and are competitive and profitable in their chosen markets.

Welcoming the change, Lee Nye, Division Manager, UK said, "Omron is well positioned as Europe's leading supplier of electromechanical PCB relays, and a leading supplier of micro switches, DIP switches, opto-switches and connectors.

With the new dedicated organisations, we are convinced we will further strengthen our market position, providing our current and future customers with world-class products and services.

The new structure will provide us with greater flexibility to respond quickly and effectively to market changes, and to evolve our service model to meet the needs of component customers.

Customer satisfaction will be the measure of our efforts and achievements".

Under the new structure, Omron Electronic Components Europe reports directly to its global HQ in Japan.

Responsibility for sales and marketing of industrial automation systems in Europe will remain with Omron Europe and its independent subsidiaries in European countries. Request free introductory details about products from Omron Electronics ...
