Distribution boxes simplify field connections
Multiport distribution boxes simplify the applied wiring of sensor actuators, enabling multiple connections in an area with just one connection going back to the controller.
Snap mounting eases sensor installation
The novel mounting system used with E3FZ sensors completely eliminates the need for nuts and screws.
They feature high starting torque and a host of application-specific parameters, and are being used to control the main hoist motors in a large percentage of ILE's current control systems.
"Before deciding on Omron drives in this key application, we carried out an extensive evaluation exercise", said John Miller, ILE's Technical Director, "and we found that the 3G3FV not only offered us the versatility we needed, but it was also extremely good value for money.
We were also impressed by its proven track record in demanding lift and hoist applications".

"The performance and reliability of the units in service has undoubtedly helped to enhance ILE's reputation in the market place, while their attractive pricing has helped us to remain competitive.
There's no doubt that using Omron drives has been a significant factor in enhancing the success of our business".
ILE has also been favourably impressed with the quality and availability of technical support provided by Omron's expert team of drive specialists, and by the excellent deliveries offered on 3G3FV inverters, which helps ILE in providing a rapid response to the needs of its customers.
"Naturally, we're delighted that ILE is enjoying such important benefits from using our products", said Robert Brooks, Omron's Market Manager.
"We believe that the purchase of a thousand units, and the promise of ongoing future business, is a ringing endorsement not just of the quality of our products, but also of the effort we have put into making sure that they meet our customers' needs".
"We're pleased to have been able to contribute to ILE's considerable success in the lift market", continued Robert Brooks, "and we look forward to working with the company in future to help it become even more successful".
ILE uses Omron 3G3FV drives with power ratings from 4 to 37kW, but models can be supplied with ratings up to 300kW.
All models in the range offer starting torque of up to 250% at 0.5Hz, and position lock at zero speed.
Other key features include excellent speed stability during load variations, variable torque characteristics, integral PID control and built-in RS232/422/485 communication facilities. Request free introductory details about products from Omron Electronics ...
