Single-function timers are simple to apply

Three new economical, easy-to-use single-function timers are the latest additions to the popular H3DS range of compact electronic timers from Omron Electronics.

In addition, all timers in the range, including the new models, are now optionally available with screwless clamp terminals, which offer big savings in wiring time, combined with enhanced connection reliability, making them ideal for transportation and other applications where vibration can be a problem.

Like all of the timers in the H3DS range, the new models are just 17.5mm wide, and they are fitted with a unique anti-tamper locking mechanism which prevents unauthorised alteration of their settings.

The new timers are available in star-delta transfer, simple two-wire on-delay, and flicker (independent on/off) versions, making them an ideal choice for many simple applications.

These new additions to the H3DS range complement the existing single-function on-delay timer and the versatile multi-function models which are offered in versions with either four or eight operating modes.

These user-selectable modes include on-delay, flicker-off start, flicker-on start, signal off-delay, signal on/off-delay, interval and one-shot.

Timing periods for all models, except the single-function flicker and star-delta types, can be adjusted from 0.1s to 120h, ensuring that the timers are suitable for the widest possible range of applications.

Single-function flicker models have a maximum setting of 12h, and the star-delta types are adjustable from 1 to 120s.

All H3DS timers are suitable for operation from supplies in the ranges 24 to 230V AC, and 24 to 48V DC, and the new single-function two-wire on-delay types can also be used on AC or DC supplies of up to 230V.
