Multi-axis co-ordinator handles
demanding motions
Powerful multi-axis continuous path control can be used anywhere in automation technology where decentralised, intelligent servo axes are required.
Trajexia is Omron's new motion platform that offers the performance of a dedicated motion system, the ease of use you get from an automation specialist and the peace of mind you get from a global player At the heart of Trajexia lies the new TJ multitasking motion co-ordinator

Distribution boxes simplify field connections
Multiport distribution boxes simplify the applied wiring of sensor actuators, enabling multiple connections in an area with just one connection going back to the controller.
Snap mounting eases sensor installation
The novel mounting system used with E3FZ sensors completely eliminates the need for nuts and screws.
Powered by a 32bit DSP, it is specifically designed to meet the most demanding motion tasks such as interpolation and e-cam, e-gearbox and registration control - on each axis, with the best performance and all via simple motion commands.
Controlling up to 16 servo axes over the unique Mechatrolink, it reduces wiring and space and, above all, offers full transparency down to motor level.
Additionally to the servo axes, inverters and I/O can also be connected to the Mechatrolink network.
Any servo, inverter or I/O connected to the network is automatically identified, ensuring configuration time is minimised.
Remote access is possible via Ethernet, right down to individual axis level.
Trajexia uses a Motion Basic instruction set that makes programming of complex motion moves intuitive and easy.
Furthermore, the user has advanced debugging tools and oscilloscope functions available.
Up to 14 programs can run simultaneously.
Program encryption is also possible, protecting the program within Trajexia.
Ethernet is built-in as standard, enabling the stand-alone Trajexia to integrate to PLCs, HMIs and other devices.
A Profibus DP interface is and a DeviceNet interface is also available.
If equipment is required to sit off the network, then a flexible axis module will be released soon to enable control via analogue output or pulse train.
Multiple modules can be used.
The versatile, powerful multi-axis continuous path control can be used anywhere in automation technology where decentralised, intelligent servo axes are required.
Typical applications are to be found in printing machines and in packaging technology. Request a free brochure from Omron Electronics ...
