Temperature controller improves the
standard

The new E5CSV temperature-controller series succeeds the popular E5CS series that established itself worldwide as the ideal choice for simple, cost-effective temperature control.

As the largest manufacturer of temperature controllers in the world, Omron is not content to rest on past achievements, and has made some important enhancements to its basic temperature-controller series while maintaining the ease of setup and operation that made this range so successful The new E5CSV temperature-controller series succeeds the company's popular E5CS series that established itself worldwide as the ideal choice for simple, cost-effective temperature control

The E5CSV series shares many of the features that made its predecessor a success - including easy setting up using DIP and rotary switches, a large seven-segment LED single line display and choice of on/off or PID control with self-tuning.

Furthermore, like its predecessor, it provides an indication of output and alarm status and direction of deviation from set point.

Building on the success of the E5CS, the E5CSV series also offers much more.

A new auto-tune function, for example, now makes setting up and optimisation easier than in the earlier series.

The new series also features set-value protection to reduce chance of accidental or malicious tampering.

Multiple-input selection possibilities (thermocouple/RTD) allow easy connection to a wide range of industry standard temperature-sensor types.

Also the new 3.5-digit LED display means that the E5CSV can show a larger range than its predecessor, now extending up to 1999C/F.

The new series meets RoHS requirements on the use of hazardous substances in manufacture, and complies with the stringent IP66 standard.

The depth of the units has also been reduced to a mere 78mm. Request a free brochure from Omron Electronics ...
