Omron can provide mass flow sensors suitable to measure any flow rate from 1mm/s to 40m/s or 1litre/min to 50litres/min of most noncorrosive gasses.
Omron Electronic's D6F MEMS mass flow sensor products can have their flow rate and noncorrosive gas type customised to suit individual customer requirements.
Omron can provide mass flow sensors suitable to measure any flow rate from 1mm/s to 40m/s or 1litre/min to 50litres/min of most noncorrosive gasses.
The customisation service is subject to a minimum order size of around 100 sensors.
Omron's D6F flow sensors measure gas velocity and mass flow rate using a 3D MEMS structure to give high resolution and repeatability, even at very low flow rates.
The tiny MEMS flow chip uses changes in the temperature distribution around its central heating element to accurately detect the tiniest air flow.
Omron has a range of over 20 different D6F gas and air flow sensor models, to detect the speed and mass flows of noncorrosive gases.
The sensors offer a repeatability of up to+/- 0.1% and an accuracy of up to +/-3% of full-scale deflection on the most accurate parts.
Omron's D6FV , D6FW and D6F-P units are aimed at detecting clogged air intake filters in ventilation and cooling systems and feature a dust segregation system.
