Omniflex has been providing BNFL and AEA with cost effective radiological monitoring systems.

Omniflex has been providing BNFL and AEA with cost effective radiological monitoring systems.

These systems enable data from Harwell or Labimpex alpha, beta and gamma monitors located anywhere within buildings or around larger site areas to be monitored by plant Scada systems as well as providing real-time alarm management and building evacuation logic systems.

Omniflex can provide a total solution.

The proven Maxiflex distributed I/O system can monitor the high speed RS422 pulsed signals and alarms from the Harwell 3230, 3280 range of alpha beta monitors.

The system can also monitor the Harwell AB96 or G64 alpha/beta and gamma monitors and the Labimpex CMS2000 alpha, beta and gamma monitors via RS232/485 comms enabling multiple monitors to be linked on a single network.

The Maxiflex I/O system also provides interfacing to all Scada systems via Modbus, Ethernet, Conet (any grade of two-core cable up to 10km without repeaters) and radio.
