The Omniterm B series product range is expanding and there is now a formidable lineup of product options for SIL 1 applications and with selected modules having Ex i ratings Described as the smallest range of products covering the largest range of applications, Omniflex has put 35 years of signal conditioning experience into these products to give simplicity, reliability while retaining cost-effectiveness

Three loop isolators are offered: the loop powered isolator (LPI), the loop repeater (LPR) and the loop splitter (LPS) in which one loop becomes two.

Two transmitters are currently available.

A universal transmitter (TxB) that has TC/mV/VC/RB universal inputs in one product with a 0-20mA, +/-10V and +/-10mA universal output.

Note that this product handles applications requiring linearisation, linear integration or signal inversion.

A frequency transmitter (THZ) caters for both proximity switches and AC signal inputs up to 32kHz.

Coming soon is a two-wire transmitter (TWT).

Omniflex also offers several limit alarms and trips, such as trips for voltage and current loops (TTB), a universal trip (TTP) - which is effectively a TxB with two programmable relays - and a frequency transmitter and trip (THT).

Special functions are available from a dual voltage or current input special function module (TFX), or others that can add, subtract, multiply, divide, log function, linearisation, deviation or monitoring.

In addition, a compact power supply is offered in the form of the Omniterm B packaged 250mA power supply (PAF) and there are also battery backed power supplies and a range of power supply chargers suitable for backed-up applications - with 12 or 24V in 2 or 5A options.

Modbus I/O modules (now with master and slave modbus protocol) bring legacy Omni16 status into a Modbus network (MIR and MOR), and there is a general digital input and output module for Modbus networks (MIT and MOT).
