Time stamping at source aids Scada analysis
Omniflex has just released a Conet OPC server upgrade that handles date and time stamped events from source.
Thus one of the most important features of Conet is its ability to operate on low cost cabling which, in many instances already exists.
The rugged Conet fieldbus network can fetch data up to 10km away on existing cables, making possible the integration of systems not thought feasible.
Conet offers possibilities whether systems are built on: an Ethernet backbone; a plant-wide DCS system; a standardised PLC control systems policy; or one (or more) of the fieldbus standards.
