The SimDBC simulation database connector provides a database interface for Delmia's simulation software Quest.

The SimDBC simulation database connector provides a database interface for Delmia's simulation software Quest.

With SimDBC Standard Edition SQL statements can be directly placed into the simulation model, making it more flexible and significantly speeding up the simulation run.

A beta version of SimDBC Standard Edition can be downloaded online.

SimDBC is an attractive addon for all users of Delmia's Quest allowing direct database access from Quest.

This makes model setup much more flexible compared with the standard CSV files supported by Quest.

Most commercial database systems can be connected with SimDBC SE as well as Excel sheets and standard CSV files.

Current SimDBC users report time savings in simulation setup by more than 50%.

SimDBC is not only a one-way road.

With SimDBC data can be read from external data sources and simulation results can be written to databases and Excel spreadsheets.

Simulation results can be processed in standardised ways.

SimDBC Standard Edition (SE) is the result of a joint development project between On2Trade and a major automobile manufacturer.

SimDBC, first presented at Delmia's German Quest user meeting, is now available as beta version that can be downloaded free of charge, and is executable for 30 days.

The SimDBC SE release version is expected for October 2003.
