This rack and pinion stage mounts between the camera and camera mounting device (stand, tripod, positioning arm).

It enables the camera to be precisely positioned in the x (30mm travel), y (35mm travel) and z (32mm travel) directions.

This stage is particularly useful when using a thermal imager with a wide angle lens at close focus distances to zoom in on small targets.
