The WIG 10/175 tungsten electrode grinder compliments the range of high-quality orbital welding equipment from Orbimatic.

The WIG 10/175 tungsten electrode grinder compliments the range of high-quality orbital welding equipment from Orbimatic.

It is essential to use high-quality tungsten electrodes ground to a precise profile for all precision and orbital welding applications.

The WIG 10/175 provides and accurate grind angle with a clearly scaled setting mechanism.

The tungsten electrode is secured in a robust collet and then loaded into the main body of the grinder.

The electrode is then introduced to the diamond impregnated grinding wheel by means of a precision slide.

The collet is rotated as it is introduced to the grinding wheel to give a consistent grind profile.

The resin-bonded diamond-impregnated grinding wheel gives a polished finish to the tungsten electrode which gives a longer life and improved arc striking.

The WIG 10/175 can be supplied to work from either a 115 or 230V input supply.

The unit can also be supplied with a dust extraction unit for the removal of metal particles from the operator's working area.
