Welding station dedicated to tubes and pipes
The Tiger welding station has been designed for the prefabrication of tube and pipe work.
The clamp also rotates to allow 45 and 90-degree elbows to be welded to tube lengths.
The Tiger head stock uses an internal purging and clamping mechanism that allows tube to be welded to fittings or even allows fittings to be welded to elbows.
As well as clamping the tube and fitting, the internal clamping system will also remove any slight ovality from the tube and produce a perfect joint fit-up.
The head stock can also be fitted with studs when producing tube with bolted flanges to give perfect alignment of bolt holes to make fitting easy on site.
The Tiger welding station makes it easy for a single operator to handle 6m lengths of tube or pipe during the welding operation.
When connected to an Orbimat C orbital welding power supply the Tiger becomes the ideal welding station.
