New concept in compact weld heads
The Orbiweld TP range is claimed as a major technology breakthrough in the concept of open arc weld heads.
One company was so taken by the new TP250 weld head that a verbal order was placed on the stand and was confirmed in writing within two days of the exhibition finishing.
The TP250 covers tube diameters from 15 to 77mm OD with only a thumb screw to adjust to change between diameters.
The TP250 is available with or without a cold wire feeder to accommodate a wide range of wall thicknesses of tubes.
Steve Purnell, General Manager at Orbimatic commented: "Weldex 2003 was very rewarding for, it allowed us to contact most of our existing customers and it has helped us generate some other very good sales leads.
The order placed on the stand was a great boost and it proves what we have been saying about just how advanced our equipment is".
