Current sloping between welding levels is a standard feature on all Orbimat C automatic orbital welding power supplies It is very important to slope the welding current between levels to eliminate the effect of thermal shock

This sloping effect also allows a completely consistent weld profile to be achieved as the weld current is not dropping suddenly during the welding cycle.

In addition to current sloping, Orbimat C power supplies have extensive data logging built in with the welding current and travel speed being monitored 500 times per second and adjusted if necessary.
