On 1st April 2005 Orbimatic (UK) will move into larger premises, which will allow the company to further enhance its activities in the UK.

The new facility is more than five times the size of their current offices and will bring a new range of services to customers in the UK.

The new premises are located in Eastern Industry, a popular area of Peterborough which is easily accessible from most areas in the UK.

Orbimatic is a firm believer in working in partnership with customers, to help keep costs to a minimum for the mutual benefit of both companies.

So this new facility will offer not just stock holding, sales, marketing and training facilities, but will also include an orbital welding technology centre.

This orbital welding technology centre will give existing and potential customers a research and development facility which is available free of charge.

For those who want to prove the use of the process and equipment before investment, this provides an invaluable service as there will be no commitment to purchase at the end of the research project should they consider that orbital welding equipment is not suitable for the application.

Orbimatic (UK) considers that this facility offers a vital service for many companies who would like to try out the process but do not want an aggressive salesperson pushing them once they have enquired or tried out the technology.

There is also a welding technology centre that is not limited to providing assistance with orbital welding equipment; this facility will also provide a service for customers to try out a full range of TIG, MIG and plasma welding and cutting equipment, in partnership with Qualitas Precision Welding Systems.

All research projects are carried out in a structured manor which suits both companies and a simple partnership agreement is drawn up to outline who will do what.
