The Site Tube Inspector is suitable for use on tubes and pipes with an internal diameter of 7mm, or above, and provides a true colour image The Site Tube Inspector can be easily used for the inspection of the internal surface of a tube with a side view adapter, and the probe is mounted on a torsion-optimised flex that allows it to be easily rotated for the inspection of weld seams

The probe can be easily manipulated along lengths of tube with multiple fittings as it is fitted on a flexible, elasticated guide assembly.

A range of centring guides are provided and as the Site Tube Inspector has a large depth of view with adjustable focus, the probe only has to be roughly positioned in the tube.

Units can be provided with probe heads of either 6.5, 8.5 or 10mm diameters with lengths of up to 15m.

The probe head is waterproof up to 1 bar and can be supplied with a soft polyurethane or robust Powerflex head unit.

The whole unit is housed on a robust drum which stores the probe and guide as well as the Xenon light source.

The drum unit also allows the optional LCD display to be stored and a viewed.

This LCD display is also available with a image storage facility and text generator for easy identification of image files.

Orbimatic (UK) Ltd is now also able to offer videoscopes with a 4mm probe head for inspection of small diameter tubes.

This 6mm probe is able to be manipulated round small diameter fittings and can also be inserted via a valve body for inspection of difficult to access areas.
