Controllers take charge of refrigeration

Orchard Electronics (Process Controls) has added the new S range of low-cost compact electronic digital refrigeration controllers to its expanding range of industrial process controls.

Orchard Electronics (Process Controls) has added the new S range of low-cost compact electronic digital refrigeration controllers to its expanding range of industrial process controls.

The new range of controllers are housed in a space saving 33 x 65mm panel mounting case with a bright two-digit LED display (Model SJ62) or in a 33 x 75mm housing for the three-digit LED display, (models SX63 and SX73).

The S range is fully programmable via a front keypad and offers the following features: one or two NTC or PTC thermistor probe inputs; up to three 8A (250V AC) relay outputs; programmable defrost functions; defrost cycles can be activated manually or programmed to operate automatically; and supply voltages are 24/230V AC or 12V AC/DC depending on the model.
