The revolutionary new AlphaStep AS Series motors from Farnborough based Oriental Motor (UK) Limited has no less than 162 variants to ensure that there is a model ideally suited to just about every application imaginable.
The AS Series takes the best of stepping motor and servo motor technology to create a brilliant new product.
A specially developed rotor position detection sensor constantly monitors motor movement.
If synchronism is about to be lost, the closed-loop control feature prevents any loss of steps.
Low vibration, no hunting, high response and no parameter setting are all features of this new product.
The AS Series for connection to 200-230V AC power supplies is available in round shaft, TH geared, PL geared and Harmonic geared variants.
Packages include a dedicated single-phase 200-230V input box type driver and motor, but AC100-115V and AC 200-230V 3-phase are available.
All are backed by a comprehensive warranty and range of optional accessories.
