Oxford Sensor Technology has expanded its team with two new arrivals.

Oxford Sensor Technology has expanded its team with two new arrivals.

Gert Eilander will be responsible for sales of Oxford Sensor Technology's products to the automotive sector throughout Europe.

Eilander speaks a number of European languages and has vast sales experience.

Experience he will now use to build on OST's relationships with the major automotive manufacturers throughout Europe.

The automotive sector is OST's largest market.

OST has already supplied sensor systems to Vauxhall, Ford, MG Rover, Honda, Land Rover, Audi, Opel and others.

Such sensors are used to guide robot-assembling vehicles such as Mazdas and Porsches.

With the launch of exciting new products, later this year, the ongoing success of current products and Eilander's experience, a substantial growth in sales is forecast.

Teemu Oittinen will be responsible project management and installation support - two areas which are the key to the success of any project.

Oittinen has experience in robotics, software and mechanical design.

He will be based in OST's Oxfordshire headquarters but will work onsite at customer premises around the world.

Oittinen, like Eilander, is also multilingual, enabling OST to provide the best possible service.

The new personnel will ensure Oxford Sensor Technology continues to provide the excellent pre and post sales service its customers have come to expect.
