OST-QuickSlide comprises a range of vision guided motorised slide systems for nonrobotic welding applications.

OST-QuickSlide comprises a range of vision guided motorised slide systems for nonrobotic welding applications.

OST QuickSlide combines: the CSS-WeldSensor, a robust, industrially proven vision sensor; the OST-Controller, a compact control unit with 15in touch screen; OST-QuickTrack, Windows based seam tracking software; and a range of single or dual axis motorised slides with a selection of load carrying capabilities, housed in aluminium enclosures for additional protection.

OST-QuickSlide features: graphical user seam (weld prep) definition; full 3D visualisation of the seam being tracked; intuitive easy to use software; and flexibility.

The welding torch and CSS-WeldSensor are mounted on motorised slides.

Buttons are used to position the torch above the seam.

OST-QuickSlide then automatically corrects the position of the torch to maintain its exact position, relative to the seam, while welding takes place.

"OST-QuickSlide has been specifically developed to provide users with a quality seam tracking system - robust, reliable, easy to install and simple to use".

"OST-QuickSlide demonstrates Oxford Sensor Technology's commitment to quality and providing its customers with the best overall return on investment", says Anthony Williams, MD Oxford Sensor Technology.
