Parvalux specialises in the manufacture of custom-made small electric motors and geared motor units.

This activity naturally involves some very special ways of bringing the units to a stop.

Every motor manufactured by Parvalux has been designed to suit specific customer applications and the braking system, be it dynamic or holding, is equally specialised.

Dynamic brakes are available to engage or arrest a load on interruption or failure of power supply.

Holding brakes will also engage on interruption or failure of power but are intended to hold an already arrested load.

Dynamic brakes fit all frame sizes from Parvalux's permanent magnet motor range (excluding TEFC) in 230 volt AC, 110 volt AC and 24 volt DC versions.

Rated torque is 0.4 Nm or 1.0 Nm.

Holding brakes are available in 12 volt and 24 volt DC.

In line with its customised approach to motor manufacture, small production runs and prototype development are key features of the Parvalux service.

The company is registered to ISO 9002 by BSI with all motors CE marked.

CSA c us is available as an option.
