Parvalux has further expanded its extensive range of gearboxes with the addition of a range of planetary gearboxes and combined motors.

Planetary gearboxes are smaller, lighter and more efficient than other gearbox types, offering a high speed reduction capability within very compact dimensions.

The high torque motor and gearbox combinations are available in a range of diameters that include 28mm, 36mm 45mm, 56mm, 72mm and 82mm, with up to four stages having reduction ratios from 3.7:1 up to 720:1.

The gearboxes have excellent backlash characteristics, are quiet running and have high efficiencies.

They offer a high torque-to-size ratio, producing in excess of 120Nm in the larger 81mm diameter at input speeds of up to 4000 rpm.

Options include various lengths of motors in each diameter with shaft options to suit customer's individual requirements.

The permanent magnet DC motors are available in 12V or 24Volts supplies with other voltages available on request.

The new range of planetary gearbox and integrated motors are suited to a wide range of applications that require high performance characteristics within compact dimensions.

Planetary gearboxes and motors are just part of a much wider range of motor and gearbox solutions available from Parvalux, the UK's leading supplier of small electric motors and gearboxes up to 650 Watts.

Parvalux specialises in the design and manufacture of motor solutions for individual applications.

Evaluation units can be quickly engineered and manufactured and all orders are turned around with the minimum of delay.
