Motor catalogue replaces several publications

A Parvalux Electric Motors product story

With greater numbers of engineers using PDF downloads, Parvalux has been able to increase the depth of engineering content for our whole range of DC brushed geared motors

Parvalux has released a new catalogue for its range of DC brushed permanent magnet motors and gearboxes.

This completely revised edition is the result of a lengthy and thorough development process by both Parvalux' engineering and marketing teams and replaces all previous material relating to the product line.

Contained within the 164 page document are details of:15 permanent magnet motors; with IEC and NEMA flange mount options for each, as well as 107 recommended gear-motor combinations and Parvalux' full range of integrated planetary geared motors.

It also covers add-ons, extras and other customisation options.

"Essentially we have designed this catalogue around the needs of the product design engineer" explains Parvalux' Head of Development, Russell Tanner.

"With greater numbers of engineers using PDF downloads, we have been able to increase the depth of engineering content for our whole range of DC brushed geared motors".

"The big change is that we have committed to one product per page, with all the data relating to that product on that same page".

"We believe this makes each product easier to find, easier to assess and, above all, easier to select for the desired application".

Each geared motor product page is accompanied by a clear 3D CAD rendered product image, a four-colour vector-based engineer's drawing, torque data by gear ratio; rated at 15 minutes, one hour and continuous.

Information is also provided on IP protection, power range, output speed range, voltage range, weight, available shaft types, radial and axial loads.

Parvalux are planning one further catalogue in this new format on its AC geared motor range later this year.
