Sequential numbered cable markers off the reel
Time and cost savings are offered by the new PA Plus sequentially numbered cable markers from marking and labelling expert, Partex.
Designed to withstand the rigours of tough production and on-site environments, and particularly to meet the needs of panel builders and installation contractors, the ProMark printer is compatible with a wide range of Partex marking products.
These include oval and gusseted cable marker sleeves, self-adhesive labels for component marking, and profiled markers for use with carrier strips and transparent carriers.
Self-adhesive products are supplied in cassettes, while other products are available as high capacity compact discs or spools.
These unique formats mean that, for the first time, a portable thermal machine can produce economical markers in larger quantities.
Irrespective of the type of material used, the ProMark prints using an efficient thermal-transfer process which, with a resolution of 300dot/in, produces crisp, clear legends which are easy to read even when using the machine's smallest text height of just 1mm.
The printed legends are exceptionally durable, and are resistant to the effects not only of abrasion, but also of commonly encountered industrial chemicals.
For maximum convenience, the ProMark printer incorporates a long-life precision cutting mechanism which can be set by the user to produce either fully cut markers, or semisevered markers which are easy to handle, and which can be finally separated at the point of use without the need for tools.
Priced at less than GBP 350, the ProMark marker printer from Partex is supplied as a handy starter kit contained in a tough carrying case, complete with a mains power supply, a print ribbon cassette, and a comprehensive instruction manual.
The kit also contains some of the most popular marking tubes and fixings, so that the machine is ready for use straight out of the box.
