New compound shrinks fluid power seals
P6000 is the name of a new compound platform for highly complex and demanding requirement profiles presented by the Parker Seal Group at this year's Hanover Fair.
He succeeds Karl-Heinz Willmann, who had been in charge of the division since 2002.
Guhe joined Parker's Fluid Connectors Group, which produces connectors and hoses for hydraulics and pneumatics, in 1992.
Most recently, he held the position of Business Unit Manager responsible for production, marketing and engineering of stainless steel products.
Within the period of 12 months, Guhe restructured this business unit into a lean model organisation under Parker's "lean" programme.
This programme is aimed at reducing lead times, optimising the use of manpower and working capital as well as targetting zero-defects manufacturing.
Bringing a wealth of experience gained with the successful implementation of "lean" to his new position as the Packing Division's General Manager, Guhe is now planning to apply this knowledge towards running the European Seal Group locations for which he is responsible.
The European Packing Division headquartered in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, and operating additional manufacturing locations in Denmark, the Czech Republic and Belgium, produces sealing systems for fluid power applications, automative engineering, the chemical industry as well as a number of other industries.
A business unit for rubber composites complements the division's product portfolio. Request free introductory details about products from Parker Hannifin Seal Group Europe ...
