Panduit's new GTS manual cable tie tool is a lighter, easier to handle option for installing Panduit's sub-miniature, miniature, intermediate and standard cross section cable ties.

Panduit's new GTS manual cable tie tool is a lighter, easier to handle option for installing Panduit's sub-miniature, miniature, intermediate and standard cross section cable ties.

Like Panduit's GS2B tool, the GTS is a controlled cycle manual cable tie tool with plastic housing.

However, at a weight of 249.5 grams (8.8 oz) it is one of the lightest manual tools available in the market place.

Furthermore, the ergonomic handle is designed for maximum comfort, making the tool much easier to use and reducing operator fatigue.

As well as improving ease of use, Panduit has ensured that the GTS is versatile.

The nose dimensions have been reduced to 13.46mm x 16.26mm, making it ideal for use in confined areas.

The tool tensions and cuts all sub-miniature, intermediate and standard cross section ties.

And with coarse and fine tension adjustment, the tool is easily adapted to different tie tension requirements.

Even though it is a manual tool, the GTS remains suitable for high-production environments.

Firstly, it is robust and reliable.

The GTS reliability is the highest of all major cable tie tools tested by Panduit and maintained its tension calibration over the life of the tool.

Secondly, the concave design of the nose means that the GTS cuts ties flush with the tool to avoid potential sharp edges causing injury to the installer.

Panduit's GTS cable tie tool is currently available through Panduit's Tool Club Programme.

The GTS is competitively priced and comes with a one-year warranty and universal instructions.

Also available for the GTS are blade replacement and tension locking kits.
