Stainless-steel ties for top tensile
strength
A revolutionary new stainless steel cable tie design claims the world's highest rated ratio of loop tensile strength to tie width.
A revolutionary new stainless steel cable tie design claims the world's highest rated ratio of loop tensile strength to tie width The new, enhanced locking head construction means the ties now boast loop tensile strengths of 890, 1112 and 2000N for respective widths of 4.6, 6.4 and 7.9mm, representing an increase of 80-100% on the closest market equivalents

Versatile system for wire termination
Panduit has just introduced its new CA9 Ezair Universal Applicator in Europe, which works with the most popular wire processing machines to terminate cable using reel-fed products
Engineered for the most extreme applications, the ball-locking ties will endure the toughest outdoor, indoor and even buried conditions and carry an estimated outdoor service life of 40 years, ensuring ROI is achieved.
The increased strength provides an extra margin of safety.
Furthermore, the fully rounded edges and smooth surfaces mean the ties do not damage cables or cause injury during installation or maintenance.
The new design also features a novel self-locking mechanism with a low thread force, so installation is quick, secure and effortless.
The enhanced locking head design incorporates: a new patented aggressive locking head that allows for a quicker locking of the ball for a tighter installation on all bundles, eliminating the need for periodic rework; an innovative patented displacement lock that improves interference between the ball and the tie body for superior locking strength; an exclusive patented lead in design that creates a wider entrance for the tail of the tie, providing easier threading for lower installed cost; and a unique locking ramp that provides constant contact between the tie and locking ball, which assures locking in any position.
The self-locking ties are water-, UV-, chemical- and radiation-resistant, making them ideal for applications in harsh environments such as oil and gas and petrochemical or any domain exposed to severe environmental conditions.
The ties are also nonflammable and fully tested to withstand temperatures from -80 to +538C.
Approvals include: DNV number E-6540, ABS, Germanische Lloyds, Lloyds Register of Shipping, United States Coastguards, RINA and NASA.
Panduit's stainless steel ties are part of the complete Pan-Steel solution set for bundling, identifying and fastening.
